I actually felt depressed reading that last part. His yearning for attention doesn't help whatsoever.

Keep punching him in the head and knocking him out for six-eight weeks, maybe use a pillow, so not too much facial bone is broken. That's the only solution I can think of. Every time he wakes up, just punch him in the face and knock him out again. Maybe stick a frozen hotdog up his ass every couple of days for sustenance.
