   I thought it was gonna be shit and its probably one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Not a big fan of Adam Sandler either but he was fantastic in that movie.

   Ive heard a lot of people talking about this movie favorably but it seems like the kind of thing ice have to be paying attention to enjoy. At this point in my life all i want is some high drama and explosions to pass the quiet hours between suicide fantasies, like any other red blooded american.

   do you really have suicide fantasies? how can you turn these into murder fantasies like a normie? Become more of an extrovert? I have murder/kidnapping and survivalist fantasies daily but never suicide because the romance around it is SO GAY. I hope you feel more "open" to the world in the future and this allows you to make gains in areas of your life that have remained dormant for a long time

   It was. Basically the main character is non-stop haggling throughout the entire film, while his friends and family and creditors are all nagging him left and right. It was to the point that it was giving me anxiety. Very dialogue driven, with scenes of Sandler getting beat up and robbed to break the monotony. The film tries to portray him as a victim on a hero’s journey, as he rips off and lies to everyone he knows. By the time the ending rolled around, I was ready for the film to be over. Surprisingly, it closed out perfectly, real moneyshot ending, so I walked away happy.

    Yeah it's an intense movie. If you don't pay attention it's easy to get lost in what he's actually trying to do with his jedi shit. Takes a while to realize how precarious the whole deal is.
    
    I still don't get if the gem had actual powers or not.
