    This is why Robert E. Lee himself suggested that the flag be banned. He didn't want 'the rebels' to live on. He didn't want people glorifying him or the confederacy.
    
    Which is why a lot of the statutes of him and confederate monuments in general were made after he died in 1870. See: Stone Mountain.

    I kinda don't care whether it was or not, and i kinda dont care what happens to them. It changes very little. My problem is the overall narrative, because it just doesnt add up.
    
    But if you ran over someone with your car and they dug up your messages to Candy, they might get a fucked up impression lol. Everyone is racist. What matters is your intent at the time the thing happened. They didnt just choose a random black guy to kill and shoot him in the back like a deer. Bc thats the narrative.
