Sorry but I guess us younger folx like hiki and myself grew up with imageboard culture where your posts are valued by the merit of their content instead of the name of the person making the post.

Internet forum culture is usually like that where your name is your worth and it changes the nature of discussions. People that grew up anonymously posting don't really care about being recognized for their contributions.

A lot of us even see anonymous posting as a good thing because it prevents anyone from documenting how fucked up of a person you are that you post degeneracy all hours of the day.

When you don't have a name nobody can ever make those connections.

you didn't grow up with imageboards but yeah I agree.
    Namefagging is for posers.
Anonymous messaging is a much better form of communication because it allows people to be themselves and others will judge you by what you say, not who you are.

I'm younger than you so I have experienced internet culture in a more fresh mindset. People born in the early 90s late 80s got into the internet as teenagers and spend their childhood in a non digital age so you value things like CRTs and physical collections.

I'm a mid 90s Wiz kid that has always been jacked into the world wide web. I can't remember a time before that world existed.

My son was born in the late 90s, but I didn’t let electronics raise him. We didn’t even own a computer till he was almost 10, and even then, he got 2 hrs a day on it, and that was all; unless it was a school project. He had plenty of time to learn the WWW on his own, and he has.

My parents never limited me on anything ever. I spent an unhealthy amount of time playing video games and doing computer stuff instead of sports and socializing.

I am not as hardcore as those technical types like Lanny aldra or MORALLY SUPERIOR BEING that probably got into coding at a young age and had a real interest in it and made it into a career. I feel like the matrix sometimes when I alt tab and use the cool kid shortcuts and I can take apart and rebuild a computer with no anti static glove with my eyes closed.

I have never really made money doing computer stuff. I've probably made more than warioat though at least

You will never know the feel of staring at a winamp visualization playing sandstorm on a glowing crt monitor, or browsing through your game collection by hand.

    Such a sad life

Apparently it's not all that high power if you're still this much of a whiny bitch in the mornings. I haven't even smoked or had coffee yet and I'm chill as a brick of cocaine right now
