I agree for the most part but there's something about how alcohol reacts to people of certain backgrounds i.e. natives and firewater, irish and jamieson, scots and scotch, vodka and russians, although drugs are also culturally ubiquitous to these groups, alcohol has always been there. I run into people who seem to be ok with me using opiates but they're constantly asking me if I'm still off the booze as a barometer of my mental health and lifestyle

What do you mean 'how it reacts'?
This is entirely genetic. People from the Americas don't have the enzyme power that Northern Europeans developed. There's a group of genes called ALDH/aldehyde ahydrogenase that modulates enzymes like alcohol dehydrogenase which helps you metabolize alcohols and shiet. There's one gene in specific called ALDH1B1 which is prominent in Irish, Scandinavians, or just people with red hair. Their body does a much better job at metabolizing alcohol than most Europeans. I forget the name but there's one of these genes that people from the Americas don't have, so they don't process it as well. They get drunker quicker, and produce more acetaldehyde as a result, which makes your face flush red.
There's no cultural relation to how alcohol effects people. -

Yeah Tech...really been weirded out since yesterday besides being drunk. Had a slightly sore throat yesterday morning...now its getting hard to swallow...not dick but everything. i have been feeling so tired for no reason...I slept I don't know off/on 7 hrs..I've been up a few hrs and I just can't seem to get into anything..so tired. I have no never felt this tired before. Temp. has been like 100. Feeling weak..like a very vague weak...I don't know how to describe it. I've only gone out twice in the last 9-10 days. Odd aches and pains...that dont last very long.
Really sleepy so Goodbye guys...or until next time. -

Theres a center about 15 mins from my place. Could be just a nasty bug that came on quick but I gotta know for sure. Would like a few more years on this planet

2020-05-21 at 4:55 PM UTCStill alive and sick...just not as bad as was the last 40 or so hrs. Dehydrating being the worst...probably puked a few hundred times but seem to be over that now too. I want the person that gave me this bug the corona and AIDS...maybe even testical cancer. Ugh I know everyone here was so worried. I got a bazillion get well cards from someone or somebodies. Thank you thank you. Just got a mild cough and sore throat...and no real physical energy to speak of but I got the brains working good. Probably be totally over it next couple days
Oh I have been sober since Monday morning so there is that plus in getting this fucking sick. -
2020-05-21 at 5:01 PM UTCJohnny were you tested for the corona? Your symptoms are pretty typical of it. Extreme fatigue is a big one. This guy I saw that had it could barely walk due to his lack of energy he slept for 2 days straight, before coming in.

Honestly all major shit I've gone through is just about gone. I must have slept after all the puking last night almost 10 hrs without getting up for even a piss and I can remember this because I ain'ta drinking. If it comes back LIKE IT CAME ON I WILL sermon up the strength but I feel pretty good right now. Its a lot easier eating and drinking anything too that was really bugging me but eating like a pig now.
Thanks I really appreciate it. I think God visited me and allowed for my prayers to work just this once. I am a born again Christian I bet you couldn't have guessed that one...right? -

I'm working my fourth step right now. We are making plans to get meetings going at the residence I live at soon. Probably on the weekends. I dont want to lead meetings or anything, but I think it will be good for me.

§m£ÂgØL is insecure about his inadequacies and frustrated by his shortcomings. He doesnt have a drug problem and just wants internet attention because faceless individuals are the only ones who dont immediately dismiss him based on sensory responses to the presence of a geeky (but far from intelligent) bisexual mexican.
It makes him feel special to be part of the conversation and this is a charitable service we do if we take him seriously
