And...??? Further education is part of getting by in a first world society. Most countries consider it essential education. In Mexico you start college at 16 and can go to say, welding classes that are paid for by the government. Or if you want to go into a STEM field you can get an associates in science and continue from there. Everybody gets a specialized education and that's why there are so many Mexicans who are engineers, electricians, carpenters, etc. What's available depends on your school system, so the poor get fucked and have little options.
America's education system is far behind. Americans who graduate have no specialized skill. All you can do is work at McDonald's. And America HAS the money. If they adopted a Mexican education system everyone would be way better off. -
