I just went back and reread Soi’s first post, and the title of the thread. No where does he say that the media is downplaying it. I’m not discussing the media here, I’m saying that for every video Soi can find of black on white crime, the same can be done for white on black crime. It goes both ways. There are shitty racist blacks, and there are shitty racist whites.

My point was if a racist system is out just killing blacks willy nilly bc it hates them, itd be kinda strange that so many more whites are killed. zi dont remember the last time i saw a news story about police killing a white person, other then kelly thomas (the officers were not found guilty btw). do you?
Washington Post used to have a better database, but its not behind a paywall. Anywhere from half as many more to double the killings. Never publicized. I literally cant think of one in the last 10 years.

Im discussing the media disparity bc its something we’ve talked about before. I wouldnt always agree that you can find examples of the same things. But you said the thing about blacks being second class citizens having everything to do with why headlines are often skewed towards white perpetrators and away from black ones. It sounded like you were saying things are that way BECAUSE blacks are second class citizens. But i mightve missed something. -

I did not say it had anything to do with these headlines in the news, if I did, I did it inadvertently thinking we were talking about bad things happening to both blacks and whites, and how some of these people are racists, or just shitty people. -
