   idk i've never been to california but I live in texas and its kidna similar in a way, my mom used to live in laredo, a border city and it was pretty depraved the only whyte guy in the town is the weather man now, but there used to be an army base there where they had more whyte people, but my mom told me how when she was a kid her little friend was kid napped and sold off to get fucked for awhile and when she came back she was basically like really messed up.
   
   I remember when I was a kid and went to my grandmas in laredo, I heard all this gun fire and my uncle was like "yeaah its all good its just the army fighting the cartels" and this was like way before I knew about stuff like that going on.
