At first, we had to keep everything on a 1 mb floppy disk. The OS and everything. And once you turned the computer off, or pulled the disk out.. POOF.. you lost it all into the ether and had to do everything all over. There was no way to save large amounts of data, unless you wanted to use dozens and dozens of individual 1mb floppy disks to store it on.

The scuzzies came way after the floppies. When we finally got a hard drive, it was like we were in heaven, but even the first hard drive was only 20mb, and it cost five grand.
