Platonic Crush

    Contradiction in terms?

    Or genuine scenario?

Last night I happened to run into a friend that I used to sleep with and also had a romantic attraction towards at the time, but after all this time, no such romantic inclination exists.

But I still felt this inexplicable attraction towards her that I don't ever get with my usual friends.

Like, neither sexual, nor monogamously romantic, but just... A general attraction, in the most fundamental definition of the term.

I'm wondering how common a thing this is; and if there happens to be a name/term for it.

I don't even desire her sexually.

That's what makes this whole thing so weird to me.

She just has this charisma that fucking draws you right in.

I want to be in her presence, merely for the fuck of it.

Is there anything stopping you other than yourself,😝

Not really. In fact, we were supposed to meet up today, but I'm not feeling up to it. Maybe tomorrow.

But I'm just curiously conjecturing on the precise nature of this "attraction."

I have lots of friends, both male and female, that I like a lot, but I don't feel this compelled to be around them.

Well it sounds more than platonic, but not quite sexual. I bet it could go either way over time.

    GET TOGETHER WITH HER GAD

You raise a pretty good point...

What if this is some insidious subconscious impulse trying to manifest itself?

She has a boyfriend, whom I have already taken a liking to within a single evening around him.

I have certain rules I live my life by, and one of them is that I never intervene into an established relationship (unless there are extenuating circumstances).

Why do you have that rule? You do realize women have many men on the back burner incase things go south or if she finds a better provider shell leave the guy shes with in an instant. Dont think for a second that women are loyal, the j e w i s h media and society have pushed their agenda too long and its finally time for men to see that women arent innocient creatures

You're partially right, but in a really gross way.

You catch my attention a lot on here because you remind me a bit of someone I used to be.

Take the J agenda out, and just leave the sexism, and that's me circa 2007.

You are right, that women (and maybe men too?) tend to keep their options open for when the better option comes along. That right there is a fact that transcends anyone's particular politics.

But the whole reason that I personally maintain such a rule, is that I'd rather die righteous than live with complete moral abandon.

Maybe, at the end of the day, by comporting myself in such a way, I'm being "cucked"...

But I still feel better about myself at the end of the day.

    To each their own, tho.

Like I said, you're not even fundamentally wrong in any demonstrable way.

An example of an extenuating circumstance could be "I really want to fuck this guys wife"

As soon as i read sexism i stopped reading. Telling you womens nature and instinct is not sexism, its the truth and you and everyone else that watches hollywood movies thinks any man who is a straight shooter about women is sexist
