There was only a 24 hour warning before Katrina. Not everyone was going to be able to get out and the city didn't do anything to help people get out. They fired the FEMA director for it.
All in all only 256 people died. Less deadly than the flu amirite? -

20hr was the MANDATORY evacuation order..they were told 2 days before to get out...you do understand the difference right? Either way you don't need anything like that time to get out.

In fact as I recall they were told if you don't evacuate you are on your own...as such Fema are to blame for nothing...again PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY...if you are an adult you take care of yourself, you don't wait for some other motherfucker come to wipe your ass for you.

Nope. That is not what the record shows and that's why people went to prison and got fired for not acting. You're just making up shit at this point. 20h is not enough to evacuate, FEMA guidelines are 48+. -

Post this record that says people were not advised to leave 2 days before...aka when it fucking tore up Florida first...Post this record that says a mandatory evacuation wasn't ordered 20hrs before...post this record where idiots didn't ignore all warnings and stayed anyway.

I don't need to, I was here on the gulf coast when it happened and put up with the filthy dogs when they WERE eventually evacuated to Houston.
