The new gay-ass theme of America is to call the pandemic front-liners 'heroes'...

And to relentlessly thank them on social media. Folks, that's the newest 'in' thing...don't be left out.

Stupid Americans are all about trying to make themselves look good in front of others...that they are thoughtful and caring and not the self centered fucks that 99% of them really are.

They are just too dumb to understand that anyone with more that 1/4 of a brain can figure out their "thanks for nothing!" spiel is just another "Look at me! I'm thoughtful and caring!" power play.

The "Thank you for your service" thing got old a couple of years ago and they've since been desperate to find someone else to thank. Covid-19 was their dreams come true.

indeed. Too bad many of those hospital workers can't thank their bosses for letting them wear masks. That's because workers are nothing more than commodities, and image and reputation will always supersede safety in the workplace.

The biggest single problem with the world these days is that it is no longer "cool" to do the right thing.

You're not "relevant" unless you have a view or stance that "might upset some people"

    Humans are sad creatures

Doing the right thing doesn't require thanks.

    Thanks for paying your bills
    Thanks for not killing anyone
Thanks for not robbing a bank
Thanks for doing your fucking job...

Thanks for being a functional member of society.

I won't say thanks to anyone who is doing their jobs right now but

I'll say thanks to the guy who presses a button to nuke China into oblivion

Nothing requires thanks. Nobody said thanks are required. That's the view your mind chooses to take.

Grocery store workers are probably at more risk than nurses...yet most of the "thanks" you see are aimed at nurses and shit while the lowly $8hr grocery store worker just gets to clean up diarrhea in the tinned food aisle.

They're getting plenty of thanks. Though I don't think this virus is even a big deal, swine flu was worse, we all need to stop being fags and get on with our lives.

I'm not putting down health workers. Like everyone else, I totally appreciate them. its the gayness and sheeple/lackey aspects of our culture. The US politically correct deal we got goin on is so fucking transparent.

They get thanked in their paychecks...no job is any more important in the grand scheme of things than any other.

The healthcare workers couldn't do their jobs if it wasn't for the builders who built the hospital, the technicians who keep it operational, the manufactures who make the equipment, drugs etc...

Save your thanks for those who do something to help others that are not getting paid for it and at their own expense and risk.

Using something too much devalues it.
