    I looked into moving to London once. Did the math and I wouldn't make any more money than I would staying here. And in return I'd have to live in some bleak, pessimistic authoritarian mega-city. No thanks.

    I get a lot of Americans here saying to me "Oh I'd love to go to London"...I point out it's like any other shitty city in the world, dirty full of rude fucks, homeless people, dumb tourists and everything is overpriced.
    
    I tell them If you want to see the culture of a country get out of the cities.
    
    ETA, like Paris...I remember going to Paris when I was about 20 and paying 15 quid for a beer...15 fucking quid like 32 years ago...fucking lol.
