   If you kill an animal you can go to jail and be socially condemned. If you go around killing plants people will think you're retarded and it can possibly be illegal.
   
   But when it comes to viruses you are a hero for killing them. It's them or us. The virus doesn't want to hurt anyone it just wants the same thing all other forms of life desire and that is to pass on their genes and live forever.
   
   Instead of eradication of viruses we should be looking to form a relationship with them. Like hundreds of years ago people burned down forests and were cruel to animals but now we know how wrong that is.
   
   Maybe we are wrong about viruses too. They should have a right to exist
