Lol the fact this info was leaked on Reddit says it all. It seems Reddit just like this community of like minded individuals is full of people who have nothing better to do than examine from hacks, Pokemon dumped old firmware and hacked video game systems from years back? Man doesn't that sound kind of boring though? Might as well play games than just hack old systems.
I also watch MVG. His console breakdowns and explanations of code are top notch. I saw this video the day it was posted and wasn't much interested until I heard that hackers had the idea to hack the server of the company they found the name of on the chip inside the Wii. That's just funny to me that someone with ill intent in their heart opened a Wii one day, saw that company name and thought it was a good idea to hack them.
And it was. The Wii schematics are now public domain. The Chinese are going to be able to engineer open source Wii's that run any retail game or burned disc with a custom OS. Pretty cool stuff.
