   Are there stations that are like actual radio, like with hosts?
   I hate internet radio because it's just people streaming playlists, there isn't any character.

   I don't really listen to any so no idea. I think that's mostly gone to podcasts rather than live radio nowadays though

   I'm sure there is but a lot of it has taken form of recorded episodic podcasts.
   [Live] SHOUTcast radio used to be a thing during the earlier days of th' internet. I'm sure it still is, it just became a bit more obscure. There's some radio shows that stream live over youtube and take calls as well.
