Nothing wrong with driving an older car, especially if you have a history of accidents.

New cars are a complete waste of money.

It's pretty impressive how you can walk away from an accident nowadays. Like back in the day getting impaled on the steering column was a pretty common way to die in a car wreck (nowadays steering columns are collapsable).

Safety cages really made a difference too. Before even if you were strapped in you were just strapped in to a crumpling piece of metal. Often the roof would collapse and the engine would come back and crush your legs.

Of course that still happens, but at much higher speeds.

They should do mental/cognitive/competence screening before issuing licenses.

And there should also be height restrictions so that the industry isn't catering to extreme deviations in the market to make it so they aren't nagged at when short people can't see over the steering wheel, leaving normal-sized human beings to drive their car in peace.

Idk if it it came that way or not, I drove it off the lot at 8:30 pm at night, so I didn't have the most daylight to see. The headlight assembly was melted, so I put that in yesterday. It has it's flaws, but it was only $5,700 and it's my dream car. I woke up the other morning and it fall off.

I take value in the fact knowing you'll probably never be able to obtain one, where I took it off the lot for literally zero dollars down and quite an agreeable monthly payment.
