She always worked hard and demonstrated intelligence (which is a real, quantifiable thing), creativity, and diligence in her roles.

It's the law. It's not discriminatory to suspect someone of stealing when they come in trying to get tags removed. You think it's 'fair' that they took it off AND gave Bill Krozby 60 in credit? Lolno. There is a customer satisfaction budget for things like this. You can complain about almost anything to these companies and they will give you free shit. If the cashier said it didn't have ink, it probably didn't. Sounds like it was a chip which is way more common than the ink these days. Most of them literally don't even do shit though, they're just for looks. Corporate agreed with him because that's what they're paid to do.
I don't think you've ever worked returns. People do all kinds of shit and taking an item from the store and claiming its yours (with a receipt even) is a common scam. If you don't have a receipt proving you bought it, you can fuck right off. That's the policy. They don't have an obligation to take the tags off for you. Bill Krozby should've saved the receipt. -

Tags all have ink. If the cashier said it didn't it was as a troll to Bill Krozby. They are reusable, so cost isn't an issue, and so they incorporate both ink and a chip.
Corporate agreed cos they know that the markup on jeans is about 9x cost price, so even if Bill Krozby had stole them it's better to keep him happy and maybe convert him into a customer than piss him off uselessly.
Receipts don't prove anything at all, they exist solely to allow corporations to have an excuse to avoid having to do refunds or replacements. -

I wouldn't go in person because you might have to deal with the same asshole again saying you're being belligerent or something stupid like that.
Call and ask to speak to mgmt or corporate. At some places there are some super whyte kyghte fags / dykes that work there that will be relentless.
Its not worth your time to try and be civil with people like that.
When I had my cycling accident last year around this time not sure if you remember that were I was all bruised up broken arm stitches ect.. this asshole that works at the flag store i buy my booze at, this one asshole, barely speaks english would talk shit like kinda making fun of me in front of other customers getting them to point and laugh when I was all beaten up and depressed. And the second time he did it I told him FUCK YOU ASSHOLE and got in his face and I decided I'm just not going there anymore unless its earlier in the day when he's not working.
But I went there one night right before midnight to get some brews and I went out there in a hurry and didn't have my ID "ive been going there for years and everyone knows me" and he was like Ohhh.. you don't have your ID? WONT SELL TO U. Yeah I just didn't go there a long time.
But he told the other guy that works at the store down the street about me, total snitch. And the guy was asking me like "ooh why you don't you go there anymore" And I explained it to him and the guy just dropped it.
But now I go back and this pedro fucker is totally up my ass being nice to me.
Some people total accusers of the bretheren but in a way its a good sign because it shows that you're a lamb of god and you have haters that don't like you.
I think part of why he changed his tune and is more humble is I asked him "que paso amigo?" and he told me that his wyfe and daughter died in a car accident. I would never wish that on anyone. I was like I'm sorry bud, hope you feel better soon. And he's never acted like a dick to me since then. Some people can be really petty. -

The gont at HQ said it definitely had ink and the bitch doesn't know what she was talking about and telling me to break it off with a screw driver was unprofessional and its probably her first job like a lot of people that work there. I don't really go to old navy but I went to it that time just or a couple pairs of work jeans and they acted really snarky to me.
They told me okay come back and we'll take it off.. and then they were like no we're not gonna do it.. then I had to go again and they took it off.. like what you fail to recognize because of your barriers in thinking is that they could of just looked up my info in their computer.
And the thing is I didn't go out looking to get free shit.. I just wanted the tag taken off.. thats all I wanted..
