Caught you off guard because it’s not the norm now, but it used to be the norm to acknowledge and speak to perfect strangers.

I know what you're talking about, but I'm just talking about the preface what you're talking about. I dunno its kinda weird here in austin. Like guys will give me a head nod and girls will smile at me sometimes, but its just depending how peoples moods are. I generally am friendly just kinda depends on the vibe at the moment. But theirs some days where I just don't feel good and don't want to interact not that I'm afraid of them or anything like that, just no interested in at the moment because I'm in my own head.

It's actually from what I see especially the last week its mostly people in their twenties or so that are more standoffish / introverted.

The other day I went to the store for cigs and I was unwrapping them outside the store and this guy road on his bike to put on the side building before going in and kinda felt was nervous that like I just might get on his bike when he goes in and ride off, but im not like that and he introduced himself and we chatted for a bit and I just left

We're on lockdown here. We're not supposed to travel more than 2km from home for any reason besides food or essential work. Essential workers are supposed to have ID with them.

This is so weird. I can't even imagine things going back to normal.

Well, it’s just a product of our environment right now.

I have had more social interactions in my neighborhood the past 6 weeks than I’ve had in 2.5 years living here.

Parents are actually parenting and married folks are really doing the for better or for worse thing.

It’s strange, but I feel like this has in many ways strength-end community interaction.

I hope corporations consider teleworking as a long-term option ... for many reasons.

Those in nursing homes and assisted living situations are the most profoundly and negatively impacted. Ironically, they are also the generation that created the latch-key kids ...

Personally, I think this major shift is long over due - by about 5 years.

The world and how we live in it, will be much different ... but better as well. I believe values will be found as a result and social interactions - social events will look very different, but they will be vital as well.

Everyone is just an asshole that rushes stores. I liked it when all the normies had to work because I would only go outside when I knew there wasn't many people somewhere, now there is always people everywhere so I don't go out anymore.

I had to even change where I bought my bread because there's always a line
