Morons like technologist have adapted this behavior.
I know exactly when it all started, around 2013 - 2014.
The media and figures in the tech world doing conferences would say "we" instead of people.
For example:
"Should we use less resources"
As a headline instead of
"Should people use less resources"
or
"Should the government open the country right now"
"Should we open the country right now" (as if "we" actually have any say in that)
It's socialist newspeak that aims to turn people into collectivists.
