I just want to see the world. Getting a potential wife/impregnating is not my problem, committing is. I don't feel fulfilled cause I've spent too many years enjoying myself the same way. I would very much like to see the world outside of my country too but I don't think I will be able to for a few years. After that I don't really care, I'll abandon people for a week or 2 to travel. Not my biggest priority though and I absolutely hate people who talk about travel like it defines them as a character trait. It's pretty female and an attempt to substitute for a lack of personality. I'm just stir crazy and legaly imposed restrictions on my movement hurt my soul.
What is your plan for obtaining these things beyond staying away from substances? -

Once this BS pandemic is over get back into studying. I love history and albeit no job I'm looking for is related, I always wanted a degree. Relationships/ distractions can wait for now I just don't have the time to balance them. Once I have a car I'll get a job in mortgage advising or a similar field. I've read heavily into FX trading so would like to persue that but place bigger trades. In the UK we have a "right to buy scheme" that allows you to buy your home at a discounted rate after 3 years of renting, but only certain properties. Once I've done that, travel the world then come home.
The only thing stopping me is falling back into old habits/ associations.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

school takes so long and unless a degree is a lot more useless in the UK than it is in NA (which I imagine it is, somewhat) then I think that's a bit of a waste of time too. I'm just in the home stretch of a degree so I'm trying to get it done, don't expect it to have any benefits besides a feeling of accomplishment for setting out to do what I knew would be difficult.
Mortgage advising seems like the type of thing that will always have a use for, especially in the climate of uncertainty. Just stay focused and you can do it man. Lifestyle is the biggest thing for me hence why I don't drink anymore and hang out with a girl with a kid in my free time. I really just need to stay outta prison, I know if I can do that I'm going to have a great life. Hopefully we both get there but it's not a race.
