   I see...I was thinking perhaps it was something to do with the poverty level and so having to work labor intensive jobs 26hrs a day.

   Rice is the easiest thing in the world to cook.
   
   
   Get one cup of water to boil
   Add one half cup rice
   Turn setting to very low after coming back to fast boil
   Cook on lowest just until all water gone
   
   Now, cooking times vary widely on the rice you're using whether it's white, brown, long grain, wild, etc. so pay attention to the instructions. You'll have to do some trial and error with your induction as to how low to turn it down. I turn my gas stove all the way down when cooking rice and would try that first and adjust if doesn't work well.

   i dont know what model induction cooker you have there but my cheap one only have digital heat control, either its on or off. even if you turn it to 80°C it will jist turn on amd off intermittenly.
   
   it cant be turn down to low like you can with regular stoves.
