Some bright flowers would look great in there
That good quality marble too. Shame the backsplash and back counter is so cheap. Something like Calacatta Gold would add a bit of color and make the back counter stand out.
Wall needs repainting too, as does the overhead.

The back splash is glass tile with pearl in it. I love the blue, taupe, grey and silver in it. But we were kinda drunk when we installed it so the pattern is fucked up lol
Calcutta would be way to busy with the pattern of the fantasy brown marble on the giant island. Also very difficult to pick up the colors on my piece of shit phone.
I also love the Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter which is the base color through out the house, with creamy white base and crown. There is an awesome turquoise wall opposite of the kitchen in the dining area.
Flowers are also everywhere ... throughout
I wish we could have replaced the whole ceiling ... just too much work for 2 midgets working more than 40 hours a week.
Oh and I would love to put a really pretty live edge countertop where the butcher block currently is ... but .... -
