2020-04-23 at 8:48 PM UTCNot gonna put effort into reading this entire thread, but at the risk of repeating shit that’s already been said...
From what I understand the timeline on this is basically some guy went on Tucker Carlson and lied about working for Stanford University and cited a study showing a “100% cure rate” of hydroxychloroquine in the treatment of Covid-19. In fact, the study was only 42 patients, and the “100% cure rate” doesn’t account for the fact that several patients were transferred to the ICU, and one of them died.
Anyway the president was obviously watching this on TV because he brought it up the very next morning as a miracle cure and has been touting it ever since.
It might be effective, who knows. But I’ll wait til they come out with multiple clinical trials with a sample size significantly larger than 42 people before I put any stock in it.
Until I see some evidence I’m much more inclined to believe this is just some scam for pharmaceutical companies to profit from a crisis. That dude who went on TV talking about it seems super shady. Probably a shill for big pharma -

Doctor: I'm sorry, Mr. Smith, but you won't last the night. We've tried everything in the book.
Patient: You mean I'm going to die??
Doctor: Yes.
Patient: Can't you give me some of that hydrocloroquine?
Doctor: I would, but it hasn't been studied enough. I might harm you before you die. -

Taking it as a last possible resort is different from a politician, not a medical professional, telling everyone who will listen “just take it, it won’t hurt you”. There are already laws in place that allow for the use of experimental procedures or drugs when you have “nothing else to lose”. So your DOCTOR can discuss that with you at the appropriate time, not a politician -

No if I remember right he said something more like “wow that’s astounding, why isn’t anyone talking about this” but not in an incredulous way more in a way of “the liberal media is suppressing this aren’t they???”
I’ll rewatch the clip real quick -

No, no. You radical leftist Trump-haters want it banned for use altogether, dying or not. This is no time for lame history rewrites, kid. -

Not a leftist. I’m anti-politics. We’ve been through this. You’re doing what you always claim “the other side” does and attacking the messenger not the message. Nothing you just said has any substance -

Yes, it does have substance. I pointed out established history, where you rabid anti-Trump leftist fucks proved you want to get rid of hydrocloroquine use against COVID-19 altogether. That's relevant and factual. -

I rewatched it and you’re sort of right he said something like “it’s our job to be highly skeptical of any claims like this, but I’m so glad you said it on this show and I hope the government runs this down to see whether or not this is true”. But he didn’t ask any hard hitting questions like “do you really work for Stanford” and “why is this study being published on your recently created ‘dot io’ website and twitter and not a medical journal?” -

Where is the FACT that I personally claimed we should ban it? Go ahead and find the quote -

No need to post the claim. Not once in your tirade against the use of hydrocloroquine did you mention it should still be used as a last resort. That's just as good as saying you want it banned in regard to use on coronavirus patients. It's a deliberate omission, which constitutes a cunning attack on the drug in its entirety. Now, if you were dealing with an idiot, the idiot wouldn't even make that connection, but you're not dealing with an idiot now. -
2020-04-23 at 9:35 PM UTCITT Spectral once again getting cucked by real, actual conspiracies like big pharma turning human suffering into billions of dollars. Meanwhile he automatically believes every other dumb conspiracy theory out there at face value like NWO and planet nemesis.
You fell for their psyops again you demented old fuck -

Sure, it does. Notice how you never once mentioned that Trump was referring to people on their deathbeds, when he said, "What have you got to lose?" In all your anti-Trump blowhard drivel, you never mentioned the actual truth. All you can do is tow the CNN/MSNBC false narrative. You call that truth? Yet again, maybe that kind of two-step works with the idiots, but it doesn't work with me. -
