The 9th generation will be similar to the 5th

   In terms of hardware disparity between the consoles.
   
   In the 5th gen you had the PS1 and n64.
   The n64 was technically more advanced than the ps1, but because it used cartridges instead of CD-roms the games were smaller, primitive and mostly awful.
   The PS1 had games that were absolutely revolutionary such as Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy VIII and Silent Hill.
   
   With the 9th the xbox has a slightly more powerful GPU and CPU but it's SSD is slower than the PS5.
   The PS5 ssd will allow the games to load faster and feature larger worlds and experiences.
   Also the PS5 controller utilizes new haptic feedback technology which will make the gameplay experience feel much different.

   Nah pc is only good for mmos and rts plus kb/m is garbage for rpg and adventure games.

   When I opened up my Xbox as a kid I was like whoa ribbon cables I know what those are.
   
   I even fixed the disc drive. The gears got jammed

   When it came to silent hills controls I agree they sucked. But gamewise it was a feat. Great game and hate they shelved the series

   Everything AAA is cross platform anyway so no, no larger worlds, just maybe less loading screens.
