I voted for life. Its a lot of time but its better than the hospitals filling up and having a NY like situation across the country. This is working, we just have to stick with it.
That said, for me it pretty much just means more time doing nothing. I wont suffer financially. A lot of people will. If we're going to do this we need to get money out as soon as possible. A lot of people are still waiting for their checks, myself included. Its not right to say people cant work, then do nothing to help them survive. Even in China the government gave people food.
Not everybody is applicable for unemployment either. -
2020-04-21 at 1:29 PM UTCWe need to get all the gentleman's clubs opened back up immediately.
I'll be waiting at Tech's table with a hand full of sweaty dollars. -
2020-04-21 at 1:34 PM UTCNarcissist's Prayer, COVID-19 version.
There is no virus.
If there is one, it's just the flu.
If it's worse than the flu, it's still not serious.
If it's serious, it only kills old weak people.
If it kills more than that, it's still not worth people losing their jobs.
If it is, it's only because I caught it.
This is Obama's fault somehow. -
2020-04-21 at 1:38 PM UTCI obviously agree with life, but I feel horrible for the small business owners who’ve put their life into their business. Some of these businesses may never make it back. I know they’re working on getting them more money. Let’s just hope it works.

Yeah, those loans ran out fast. Hope they do more because people will most definitely go bankrupt due to this.
I forget who said it but I heard this recently: "better six feet apart than six feet under" -
2020-04-21 at 4:14 PM UTCIf your economy can't function without a massive loss of life, it may be time to make changes to how your economy functions.

2020-08-30 at 11:41 AM UTCWell I just wanted to bump this thread 4 months later for your thoughts, now that we’re at over 180,000 dead and almost 6,000,000 infected.
Is it ok to continue losing lives? Predictions say we’ll be at 300,000 dead by the end of the year.
Do we draw the line somewhere? -
2020-08-30 at 11:49 AM UTCUr dumb.
