Dying from suicide or drug abuse has kinda become our thing. I was thinking today itd be interesting to see a documentary about the boards or just forums in general, and the types of behaviors that became common. Like a magnet for people with mental health and substance abuse issues, distrust of authority, etc.

I just did a little googling and there's a scholarship in his name now. Out of respect for his family I obviously won't post it openly in the forums and for some reason it's not even in his name, just his initials with his picture and some poetry. This is apparently his last design. I found a memorial page a family member made but still REALLY want to make another if you can't tell.

Yeah maybe it only feels notable to me, but TOTSE was really a first, and the fact that anyone is still around is kind if nuts. Its been its own little floating city in the ocean of the internet for a while now. If nothing else, the fact that so many weirdos and outcasts and delinquents and anarchists and faggots created our own thing is kinda cool.
