Mightve been before you were born. Heavens Gate was a cult that believed that the Hale-Bopp comet that was moving through your atmosphere in like.....1996(?) was an alien space craft meant to take all believers to a new planet before earth was destroyed. So this old guy talked 39 people into getting dressedin white clothes, brand new clean nikes, and laying down in bed before taking cyanide.
