Oh I thought of something else that made me cringe.
I was talking to my dad on Sunday and he was telling me he was at the store last week and a couple of nurses in their uniforms came in to buy groceries...many of the other shoppers stopped and clapped at them...NOW THAT'S FUCKING CRINGY.
I said to my 83yr old dad, "did you clap?"..he said "what do you think"...

I told my dad in that case they should be clapping the checkout girls at grocery store too...they are on the front line too just like the nurses...in fact moreso as the nurses know what they signed up for.
