Hoping my green card application will come through, but it probably won't.
Everything in this country 1.5-2 the cost of stuff in the US. Salaries are lower. And it's so fucking left-wing. Think San Francisco levels of left-wingism, but everywhere. Our 'right wing' party makes the democrats look like Augusto Pinochet.
And the salaries for programmers in America! Fucking hell. I'd be making 1.5 times as much there even if I loved in one of those mid-west heroin and cornfield cities.
Don't get me wrong, as soon as I got cancer I'd fuck off back home. But for actually making money is a skilled, healthy person? USA all the way.

It's really infuriating to see these foreigners (regardless of race) talk about coming here.
