What would it take for you to quit drugs forever?

  1. #1
I'm talking about EVERYTHING. Weed and cigarettes and booze too. What would it take for you to quit all of that for the rest of your life.

Would you do it for money? $1000 every day that you don't do drugs?

Are you looking for a wife and kids?

Would you have to be locked up and tied down, because nothing will ever make you willingly quit?

What if your health was in jeopardy and it was quit the drugs or die?

Would you be able to quit at least some of them?

    What would it take?

    Good thread.

I don't honestly know, the need to would obviously take precedence over wanting.

The only way I can see myself doing this willingly would be as a requirement for admission to a monastery in some remote part of Southeast Asia, which is my plan for a coward's way out should my schemes be condemned.

Fuck yes id quit everything for 1k a day all the way down to caffeine since it is technically a drug. I dont drink pop often and its extremely rare for me to drink and if i do its like 1 mixed drink every few months so idgaf there either. For 1k a day who would honestly take drugs instead?

$1000 bucks a day, I could hire the hottest broads to slob all over my knob.

    So maybe.

But also I would probably cheat because drugs are better than sobriety any day of the week.

I think that simply abstaining from drugs in exchange for money is a flawed response. What exactly am I supposed to spend it on?

1k a day then yeah, I would travel the world and learn rather than poison myself slowly.

Most of you will die from your addictions, sadly 😢 I think in today’s world, if you haven’t kicked your habit by 30 ... you won’t .

What about 100 a day? You don't have to work or worry about basic living, but you can't afford hot bitches to slob on your knob everyday.

I no longer drink. I rarely drank ever, most of my adult life, raising a family.

When I became single for the first time in my adult life, left my 28 year marriage, kids grown, started my life 100% over, taking nothing from my marriage ... I acted like an irresponsible dumb ass for almost 5 years.

My sister died February 2019 of a massive overdose on the streets in San Diego. I have no desire to drink anymore ...

    Then no.

I'll stay a addict in that case.

    Serious question...

    How do you enjoy life?

I need to know for myself.

I need liquor just to get through the night.

    What can I do differently?

Do you know those super sober people whose hardest drinking is like 2 and a half cups of wine on Christmas? Something happens in their life that's even moderately good, like a new episode of a show comes out, or their burger has guacamole on it or some shit, and they get RIDICULOUSLY excited and happy, and just seem to totally be in the moment?

What the fuck is their deal
