   natural language lexing is hard and relatively slow. Taboo and word enhancementing aren't exactly core functionality so it's not worth taking the perf hit

   You can’t just put in a rule that the enhanced word has to have either a space or punctuation next to it, not another letter. Something simple like that. Or is that not simple
