Yes, Way back (1994 ish) I used to be a mod on the #london channel(an IRC channel on EFNET) the channel owner, "hedge" was in love with another mod (Female). She used to work at Cyberia cyber cafe in London which was a relatively new thing back then.
Anyway he would go on and on to me about how much he loved her and he'd go hang out with her at her house but not get any action. He ask for my advice on how to win her heart and asked me to talk to her and convince her he was the one for her.
So after talking with her for a while she invited me down to visit her which I did, she introduced me to 2 player Sega Rally in the arcade then we went to her house for dominoes pizza and rampant sex. After we'd had sex there was a knock at her door, we looked out of the upstairs window and it was "hedge"...obviously she didn't answer the door.
A couple of weeks later I'd been telling another mod on the channel what had happened (Yes i didn't know to keep my mouth shut back then) and it turned out he was also enamored with the girl...so he went and told "hedge" what I'd done in a fit of jealousy.
He demodded both me and the girl and banned us from the channel. She called me while I was at work to yell at me for telling people about it so that was the end of that.
I don't remember her name or IRC handle, sad.

There used to be this IRC Cop on #totse on SlashNet named, Oneiros. I come on one day and he's there, and he just bans me right out of the blue. Then some #totse users tell me he's a tyrant and bans anyone for no reason. So I decided to make his IRC life a living hell. I had rotating IP SOCKS 4/5 proxies all chained up and automated and running day and night, and every new account had a message on it for oneiros. The poor kid tried everything in the book for weeks on end, but I masked everything. He wouldn't give up, but I was relentless. Finally, o_RLY asked me to lay off him, as a favor to him, but instead, I gathered a lot of oneiros' personal details, along with his exact place of employment and real name and such, and then I leveraged that information on him and was able to get him booted off as IRC Cop altogether. Then the doof comes on #totse, and he has no powers. Laughable. Just goes to show, mess with the bull, you get the horns.
