They'll stop protecting me from the debt. So that means the banks and such can yeet any money i make straight out of my bank account or from my employer and/or confiscate my assets until such a time the debt is paid. However government protection doesn't evaporate entirely. There is a limit to how much they can yeet out of my account/from my employer. The limit is what the government figures is the minimum amount of money i need to survive.
Even the energy companies can't just turn off the electricity and gas in the winter. If i freeze to death it would be on them. The government calls it "social responsibility" lol. -

I literally can't. Because they will bypass me by going to my employer. But say i don't have a job, then yes Vinnie they'll send the goon squad. And if i fight the goon squad i'll end up in jail or dead. But i'll be charged with assaulting an officer not with having debt. Having debt is not a crime. -

yea, HAVING debt is not a crime. MAINTAING DEBTS are.
i've looked far and wide and in every modern society and in every country having debts and not doing anything about them always ended up with jail.
its just a degree of freedom you're allowed to go before ending up in jail. -

Its completely stupid because how can they pay you back when you lock them up for so long? Debt builds up and meanwhile the state still isnt getting paid.
Other debt just goes to civil court I believe.
Al Capone didn't go to jail for debt. He went to jail for not declaring his income. The govt can't put you in jail for not paying your taxes. They can only jail you for not declaring your income. -
