   We're pretty much at that point where it's difficult to make new music. That's kind of interesting to think about, the evolution of music and how at some point there's just only so much that can be created without essentially repeating previous versions. The electronic music surge over the last decade has been pretty indicative of this truth, remixes and whatnot. I wonder what music will be like in 50 years from now. We need some new instruments, and some new sounds altogether.

   I personally see trends happening like we do now with groups like Tame Impala simply giving a refresh to 70's music. You've got some rappers doing 90's type stuff now too. I heard a weird song the other day that was a modern 50's-60's now, some English kids beating up a pinata in the music video. IDK.
   
   Point is, I think this is what's gonna have to happen to keep fresh. I can't fathom what can be done to change the sound of music but then again, I'm no pioneer.

   josquin and palestrina were churning out hundreds of parody masses in the 15th century, which isn't really any different than sampling/remixing a track.
