Bought a geiger counter today

   Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Dark Matter [my scoffingly uncritical tinning]
   It's one of those bare bone circuit board ones. I'm hoping to hook it up to an arduino or something, and from there to bluetooth and maybe even to a phone. The tube does beta particle detection, which is something I really want.
   
   It was €90, unfortunately I couldn't justify buying a gamma scout or similar, which start at about €300.
   
   Corona is really making me conscious that nuclear accident in Europe is something that will happen, sooner or later, and I better be prepared.
