Would one care if his/her family name die out with his/her faggot child or incel heir?
I feel bloodlines is what carries true legacy, a surname that defines generations of success. Are there any members who's line dies with themselves? This has always made me curious. The thought of centuries worth of prestige being extinguished terrifies me.
Or is this vanity?
No, not at all. For our children are the custodians of the world they will inherit tomorrow!

I have my Mom's name. She thought it would be easier for me to grow up with her name.

My family were all scumbags, I'm glad our name is dying out with me.

I kept my last name when I got married, and gave my son my last name. It’s a very unique name, so I want my son to carry on the name, for my Dad.

part of what makes us civilized and human is our ability to create meaning, and design devices which generate meaning for us.
