gangsters are cowardly scoundrels who mostly betray and murder each other, they are not known for bravery or courage or being manly, there was nothing remotely 'gangster' about what he did. that negro right there was just acting like a man.
Fair enough. A book i was reading talked about how pretty much all organized crime structure is built off of male hierarchies, fraternity, etc and that gang culture was generllyjust hyper amplified examples of typical male behavior. Risk taking and emasculating rivals definitely falls in there. I thinkthe most gangster part was you could tell he really enjoyed that. He was sick and tired of niggas n hed been waiting years for that. lol.

that's the purpose of a union. to get together something that you can't get alone. you see, the value that a gang offers to its members is an alternative social hierarchy in which they can get respect and status that they have no opportunity to gain from the the society at large. this enables gang members to get a slice of the 'nasty ratchet pussy pie' where without the gang, they'd just be a scruffy ethiopian scrub wannabe rapist that dies a virgin.

damn I didn't know he died. that lil gont went thru a lot. I met him a couple times because I worked downtown and would throw him a slice and he'd throw me a cig and talk about his movie. pretty upbeat guy for shooting himself in the eye.
