With the new information factored in, my earnest guess is 8.003125.

Even if that's wrong I'd love for you to figure out how I chose that.

So we have to calculate the clocks value as a function of its change in time from one symbol to the next...?

And do some algebra on the book collections since there is a different quantity of books?

(All of which I will leave to someone else because I'm kinda too hungover for that right now).

But the little square inside those orange figures (which is missing from the last equation)... How do we determine a value for that little square?

How do you determine a classification for a polygon?

    Oh... Number of sides?

Cuz I was gonna say... If we have to calculate the area of each of those polygons and do some trigonometry and all that shit, I'll just take the Corona.

    So its...

    4 + 4 + (3 + 1/12 * 3) * 11...

    8 + (3 + 1/4) * 11...

    8 + 3.25 * 11...

(And I'm pulling out a calculator at this point...)...

    8 + 35.75...

    43.75?

I so probably fucked up somewhere lol.

    52.

each side of the hexagon, pentagon and square = 1.

    each hour = 1

    each book = 1.

Lol I got a fraction because I thought a movement of the clock's arm by 1 hour implied a ratio of "one twelfth additional clock value".

I don't think my reasoning was flawed, just way over complicating it.

    i know.

over complication is a form of coping mechanism for those with low iq.

    no offense.

high iq people tend to simplify things.

    like donald trump.
