Do you know anyone with the virus?
-
2020-03-22 at 3:11 AM UTCI mean personally? Like IRL? Tech claims she might but that don't count because she is an AW, but besides that I mean personally, do you?

it's become something of a popular theory that the virus itself isn't even real, just a meme forced on people by the media to justify greater state control.
I can't say I believe it but I have a hard time understanding why entire economies are being shut down; the containment measures are doing significantly more long-term damage than the virus ever could -
2020-03-22 at 2:05 PM UTCI'll tell you what though, who here remembers getting sick at the beginning of the year or thereabouts? Because i do, i remember it because it was strange. You'd get sick for two days, then you'd feel fine for another and promptly get sick again. Only this time it comes back with a vengeance. Takes a good week or two to get better from that. Here's another reason i remember, literally everyone i know IRL got it or had it right around the same time i did.
Maybe it's a bad flu season, IDK, i just thought that was interesting. -
2020-03-22 at 2:08 PM UTCI read an article the other day that speculated that spate of vaping-related lung failures last year was actually the first few cases of COVID19

There are all sorts of little viruses going around that make you feel bad for a few days. I don't think anyone even knows what they are. -

Being sick doesn't usually involve a pause of a day. Everyone who i asked about it reported the same. That's not real evidence, still a little odd. -
2020-03-22 at 2:22 PM UTCYou know what's scary is that viruses can alter our DNA. That's not some theoretical thing - that's literally how genetic engineering is done, how retroviruses like AIDS work, and our DNA contains sequences inherited from viruses and bacteria including ancient retroviruses.

2020-03-22 at 3:23 PM UTCLabs here have to test everyone for upper respiratory viruses, the flu, and Covid-19.
My results had all of that on it. -

Our Director of the Ohio Dept of health believes it’s been here for awhile. I guess some of our businesses have contacts in Wuhan. -

Thank God for ancient retroviruses. I read the reason why a fetus doesn't get murked by the mom's immune system is because of certain proteins we picked up with a virus a couple million years ago. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger is a bullshit line. Unless you're looking at an entire species. -

Yes, but it wasn’t the flu I had.

I tried to theorize this and Lanny keeps arguing me. -
2020-03-22 at 3:32 PM UTCbacterial infections make the way you think stay the same, viral infections make the way you think change.

contact and exposure reduction for anything contagious works. for something this virulent to the point like if you just looked at a carrier you are 66% likely to get it, stopping people from meeting and interacting with as much people as they normally do certainly helps.

that is the most stupid thing i've seen you post. why wasnt anyone else other than those vapers infected ?
why wasnt it infective ?
because it had nothing to do with wiruses. -
