You can't say you have 5000 cases of anything and expect any type of containment.
How many people do those of you still working come into contact with each day?
Your family, your co-workers and/or case workers, everyone at the markets and stores, etc...
Im not in the market to take my chances anymore.
I did enough of that in the past and it didn't always turn out for the best.
Why go to work when your money isn't going to be worth anything?
I bet you that you'll hear about people not getting paid from their employers after they shut their doors.
Maybe not everywhere but does it even matter at that point?
Everything takes so damn long to do or change because no matter what you try and do in life there HAS to be people standing in the way of you being free telling you "you need a fishing liscense", "you need to have this insurance to be covered here", "you need a degree for this job. Here I will take your money and you can earn one.", "Have some methadone to cure your heroin addiction.", "The Volkswagen tdi is a clean diesel".
It's all lied and corruption and greed and too late.
With everyone in a panic you can bet all the hospitals are going to be overwhelmed with the sick and the stupid people who just thought they were sick but just infected themselves.
Technologist is actually pretty lucky (sorta) in the sense she has gotten it early and if she did need advanced medical treatment she might be able to get it before the hospitals all run out of everything from cures to comfort meds to oxygen masks and everything else.
After a while it will die down some (at least Corona) but it could be a while and nothing is for certain.
It could mutate and get much worse.
Maybe it does things long term no one knows about yet...
Are twice as many men dying as women from this?
Just do yourself a favor, wash your butt, watch netflix, and play video games.
If the economy tanks then it was gonna already.
We can figure out a final solution for that later. -

2020-03-21 at 4:18 AM UTClook at it this way. if this virus kills 50 million + elderly, that's a huge break on fossil fuel usage and overheating the planet (ozone/climate control). even though i believe this is a plague by God, it also feels like mother nature purging itself for protection.

one thing we know for sure, locust is currently destroying much of africa and parts of the middle east, the stock markets are crashing, soon the economy will crumble, oil is diving and usa is about to cease pumping because there are no profits under $50 a barrel, and this virus is only in phase 1 and it has evolved twice now revealing a 2nd more deadly part. so, this virus does not have to be a big killer for all of the damage it has caused. that equals plague!! -

This black dude started doing a gay victory twerkit scoot it move it dance on the court. And i raised my brew and was like yewaah chiken shake that big black ass! And he just turned around and looked at me and we started laughing.
Pretty sure theres no viruses here except hiv and worms in people's brains
