hydraulic safety alert

it has come to my attention that some of you are unaware of the severity of the risk that certain seemingly innocuous injuries that can be incurred from working on hydraulic systems or fuel injection systems can cause.

    https://www.hoseandfittingsetc.com/our-blog/bid/39816/danger-of-hydraulic-oil-injection-injuries

please be aware that when working around platforms that rely on extremely high pressure fluids, that it's possible to get hit with a pinhole stream of extremely fast moving fluid, acting like a laser syringe. it will feel like you've been bitten by something or stung by a bee. the injury itself may be extremely tiny, but it can be life threatening. if you have any suspicion that you have incurred an injection injury, please seek emergency medical assistance immediately.

being beside huge tires is also a major risk. dont walk too near to trucks, you never knew when their tires are gonna blow up.

our hands are wrapped in leather, which is water and oil proof.

i dont know how you do it over there but here we test diesel injectors by putting our hand about 5-6" from the injector, crank the engine and feel how hard it blows diesel mists at our hand.

Do you also see people welding by holding a piece of darkened glass up their face?

it only takes 100psi to puncture human skin. go ahead and grab an injector and test it for us on video, please.

However, i can not believe they test diesel injectors by placing there hands infront of them, that's nuts.

it doesnt blow any harder than a blow gun blows compressed air.

    dont be pussy.
