    Sure sure...

So then again, explain the "special" circumstances that would prevent a person riding..lets say a GSX600F from Detroit to Vegas...and list the crotch rockets you've owned and the problems you encountered.

Also as requested list the crotch rockets you've owned that you feel wouldn't make the trip to Vegas along with the reasons/reasoning...

What about Harleys? How good of bikes are they, and what is their specific application? And why do they have such a cult following? Signed, a non-motorcycle guy.🤗

50yr old technology for 2x the price. People who know about motorcycles tend to avoid them...generally bought by idiots who fall for the "American dream" lingo.

It's the equivalent of your old lady buying a $2000 handbag because of the designer label.
The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

  7. Consumer reports reported Harley the 2nd worst brand for reliability...BMW being the worst.

"Only about one Yamaha bike in 10 has experienced a major problem or required a serious repair over the past four years, according to the 4,424 motorcycle owners surveyed by CR. In contrast, about one BMW motorcycle in three has suffered from such a complaint -- and one Harley in four. Here's how the numbers break down:"

It's all about the brand for Harley "riders"...not about buying the best bike...aka buying into the dumb corporate "it's American" bullshit.

If you had ever toured that far you wouldn't have to ask.

I have...just not the US...it's amusing you think the US is the only landmass in the world...lololol

You still didn't answer the questions...I wonder why...

A harley wont be a very good choice for cross country touring when you are dealing with East European/African "roads" etc...

i have two little bikes and the only reason i dont have big bikes is because i dont feel the lack of something big inbetween my legs to the point i have to get big compensator and/or surrogates.

I own an Indian scout bobber, fun bike but I ain’t touring on it. I regret letting go of my 1968 BSA Thunderbolt

If you read this thread you will see you just repeated what I have already posted.
  15. Back in the mid 80s I'd signed up (RE: paid the 1500 quid) for a 6 week bike adventure across the Sahara region, and the journey was going to be documented for "Bike" magazine (A well known UK mag)...it was canceled though due to the main dude breaking his leg a couple of weeks before we went. SMH.

We were going to use Aprilia Tuareg's, I suspect a Harley wouldn't have made it 3 miles...

At some point I want to import a 350LC, they didn't sell them in the US. Not sure about the laws re: two strokes but I think it's allowed under the "vintage" bike rule (I think...).

It's fine, he's a Harley fanboi, they are all the same, too wrapped up with Harley brand recognition rather than having the ability to see in the grand scheme of things Harleys are one trick ponies and mediocre at best.

It seems like they don't make anything other than cruising bikes.
