   Again I wasn't in the US...and no they were most definitely sports/race bikes, not town bikes...Both models there were raced competitively...a town bike would be a fucking moped. lol

    That statement shows me you haven't got any experience riding bikes of all types. Any reasonably sized modern bike is capable of cross country Detroit to Vegas, it's only 2k miles, lol.

    I've ridden hundreds of thousands of miles on motorcycles...2k Detroit to Vegas is nothing...but feel free to share the difficulties of such a ride that I'm apparently unaware of.
