What do you think about the future of graphene manufacturing? I am looking to invest in penny stocks of graphene manufacturing companies. As far as I can tell, it seems to have a promising future in the smartphone, automobile, electronics industries.
Currently the compound has to be made more readily available, made cheaper, and made in a higher quality.

I'm talking about Graphene Oxide. This stuff has been around since the 1800's but in the last 10 years it has exploded in popularity. There is a high cost involved with making it because you either need high temperatures, dangerous oxidizers, large amounts of electricity or special catalysts. There exists a "bottom up" method starting from sugars, the Tang Lau method. I am researching an even cheaper bottom up synthesis starting from industrial waste.
