GMO tomatoes taste exactly the same as organic tomatoes. There is no such thing as a "shelf storage" gene, they all just taste like tomatoes you fucking skitzo
maybe the problem isn't the tomato or the market or the seeds or the genetics or the grower maybe it's YOU!!!!

Salted tomato is great. Really brings out that tomato flavor even from a 50% off expires in 3 hours rolled on the floor tomato from a dirty corner of the grocery. Just wash it, a lil salt and BOOM
Anyone that says "this has no flavor" is probably also the type of person that would smoke a gram of meth and say "i'm not even high, this is shit"
their brain is like a gaped out asshole that can no longer feel pleasure from anal stimulation
Tomatoes do NOT taste the same...as a former tomato grower back in THAT HALLOWED LAND OF ENGLAND...I can 100% say naturally grown tommies taste A COUNTRY MILE better than store bought/quick grown/watery tomatoes.

Farmer quality produce is higher quality but that's across the board and not limited to only tomato. Yes if you buy a nice organic tomato from a farmers market it will probably be good.
But the tomato from a grocery still tastes like a tomato. The difference is so negligible that it doesn't matter. I think people that are against grocery tomatoes are probably just secret communists that tricked themselves into thinking that a certain supply of tomatoes has no taste.
It's not like you can even predict how "tomato-like" a tomato will taste unless you send it to a lab or eat it, and if you already paid for it at that point you have just as much chance of getting a bad tomato from a farmers market as from a plant in your backyard or a grocery store. It's a fruit so there's a lot of variation, but most of them are perfectly fine REGARDLESS OF THE SOURCE!!!
