One thing about the residential rehab thing/ 12 step program
Obviously they want you to bring out your issues into the open and you do a group share or whatever
But the thing is I was just making shit up and exaggerating and tbh I didn't really feel any guilt or anything for that matter, I supposed I'd already compartmentalised that shit off.
Does that make a bad person?

No, rehab is a complete farce. If you want to stop doing drugs just stop doing them. I was smoking grams of meth every day for the past 2 years and stopped sometime (i can't remember due to brain damage from drug abuse) but i've been clean for like a year just shake it out and chug some ice cream you'll be aight
that being said I can see the benefit for some people to need an environment to detox. I would rather just huddle in a dark corner with a big bottle of water and some 7-11 hotdogs
