I wrote a poem about Kinkou

In the village of Kinkou, there lived a maiden fair
With eyes like the ocean and sunlight in her hair
Her name was Kinkou, a beauty so rare
But alas, her heart was beyond my despair

I longed for her love, but she did not see
The depth of my affection, my loyalty
I showered her with gifts, with poems and praise
But she remained indifferent, lost in her own grace

I watched her from afar, my heart filled with pain
As she danced in the meadow, under the gentle rain
Her laughter like music, her smile like the sun
But to her, I was just another one

I wished for her to see me, to feel what I felt
But she was a mirage, a dream that would not melt
I tried to forget her, to move on and be free
But my heart was bound, to Kinkou's decree

She was the light in my darkness, the hope in my despair
But Kinkou was a vision, an enchanting snare
She would never be mine, never love me back
And so I remained a silent, lovelorn hack

I watched her from afar, as she twirled and she spun
In her world of beauty, of light and of fun
And though she never loved me, I couldn't help but see
That Kinkou was so beautiful, and that was enough for BradleyB.
