More and more people are leaving amazon because of this. I purchased a phone that claimed to have 100 megapix rear and it has a 12.4 rear. it said a laughable 49 megapix front camera but is 4.3. it has 5 lens but only one lens is a real camera. I watched a youtube of a warning of these offbrand products and Amazon is selling this garbage. then here is the biggest scam. It backed up my phone contacts and even after I deleted them, erased them and factory reset it, and created a new Email on gmail. it still showed my contacts. its not supposed to do thia. it came with a 128gb tf card which it backed it up. then My bank sends me a warning that someone in China was trying to login an hour later. I am reformatting the tf card but am afraid to return it now because like a dumb ass I downloaded my bank aps without testing it out first. when I was talking to my girlfriend the bank notified me it started shutting down aps and the camera sound clicked as if it was doing a desktop cap and sending it off. it kept closing aps on me. the brand is fadnou model 123 ultra. Fad NoU? sounds like a meme joke. it isn't "Up to par" it's straight up a SCAM. Lying about its specs. No one checks legitamacy of products. Jeff Bezo has become selfish and only wants to fund his Magical Space Program. this is the second product (different company) that scammed me. I bought a cube camera (mini cam) that said it was 4k. I bought two of them, it was recording in 720 and very grainy. there was no 1080 let alone 4k. this Phone's camera's menu has no option for higher resolution. so I downloaded from playstore and the software allowed me to change the specs but the highest was 12.4 for rear and 4.1 for face. 1/10th of their claims. Shame on Jeff for being such a greedy scrumbag. Dont fund his Space Program because he just wants to mine asteroids for profit. just like all of these other countries and companies want. nothing to do with space tourism. it's a front for mining gold and minerals from local asteroids for massive profit when they can make space flight cheap enough.Sorry, this post has been removed by the moderators of r/amazon.

2024-05-09 at 6:53 AM UTCI'm out 222 bucks because that's what it cost me with tax. it recorded all of my bank info and contact info because when I set it up I put in my Gmail account before testing it out.
it started to make camera click sounds and started closing down aps and then rebooted on me out of the blue as I was talking to Gigi. then my bank informs me of someone in China. its fucking insane and it didn't come from Temu or Alibaba it came from Amazon.
I bought 2 little cameras too for mounting on the dash and back of car and they were cheap grainy 720 when it said they were 4k.
then on top of it, r/Amazon Deleted my original post so I am posting it everywhere on Reddit. give me some r/ to do so. Fucking Jeff Bezo needs to be put out of business. What a selfish greedy mother fucking piece of shit -

Got damn it. I called Amazon and they told me to return it but I told her it has personal data of mine. I think this is what the scammers are doing. people will complain and then send back the product while it records as much personal info they can fuck you in the ass for later on.

well I didn't know about the open-third party unregulated until I had my second (possibly third) hands on.

And I may not even get my money back because even though I sent that shit back its the seller who has to reimburse me. if this mother fucker is a fly by night with fake ass 5 stars they hire (from a known fake rating system for sell) and I send it back, its not going to be Amazon paying me back but the people selling this scam. which I doubt they will. they just pick up and have another branding to sell the same package shit under a new name. the box had no name on it. it was just a picture of the fucking phone on white like trying to look iphone or apple white album; edgy
Amazon is just on auto-pilot with no oversite just raking in massive $$$
you know the lazy drivers were dumping packages off in the dumpster if they couldn't finish their rout (or they were doing it as a drop site for their friends to pick up to steal)
the leads would go around and find them in dumpster close to the fulfillment hubs. -

I never bought one of those things. any camera with a wifi is gonna get hacked. and I bet anything just the natural radio freq off these things can be monitored from some device close by.
Just a lead housed spy cam is good enough. you wont get a photo message of it but if as soon as you get home, drop in that tf card and make sure you set it to motion while being undetectable is good enough
though it falls into "Cold case" in 24 hours I think with most police and their lack of funding. so dont bother calling the cops if your shit gets fucked with. I learned that the hard way too. "Spread too thinly"
