ON 4/1/23, AT APPROXIMATELY 2314 HOURS, I, OFFICER LINEFSKY, WAS DISPATCHED TO 408 42ND AVE N IN REFERENCE TO A BURGLARY IN PROGRESS. UPON ARRIVAL, SWAT MEMBERS AND OFFICER STASHICK WERE ON SCENE DETAINING THE OFFENDER. I MET WITH THE COMPLAINANT WHO STATED THAT SHE PULLED UP TO HER RESIDENCE AND, AS SHE WALKED TO THE BACK DOOR, SHE SAW A WHITE MALE THROUGH THE KITCHEN WINDOW DOING THINGS IN THE KITCHEN. THE COMPLAINANT THEN WENT BACK TO HER VEHICLE AND CALLED 911. WHEN TALKING TO THE OFFENDER, HE STATED THAT HE WAS INVITED BY TWO FRIENDS OF HIS TO STAY AT THE RESIDENCE. THE OFFENDER STATED THAT HE DID NOT KNOW THE NAMES OF THE OTHER 2 INDIVIDUALS AND HE WOULD NOT GIVE US ANY INFORMATION ON THEM. THE OFFENDER STATED THAT HE AND THE 2 UNIDENTIFIED FRIENDS TOOK AN UBER TO WALMART AND THEN THEY WALKED TO THE RESIDENCE FROM THERE. THE OFFENDER STATED THAT THEY ENTERED THROUGH THE BACK DOOR THAT WAS OPEN AND SHOWERED IN THE HOUSE. THE OFFENDER STATED THAT THERE WAS A 3RD MALE WHO LEFT WITH THE OTHER 2 INDIVIDUALS TO GO TO WALMART AND THE POLICE SHOWED UP AFTERWARD. THE REAR KITCHEN DOOR WAS PRIED OPEN -LEAVING DAMAGES ON THE DOOR/FRAME OF THE DOOR AND THE KITCHEN WINDOW WAS BROKEN. THE KITCHEN HAD FOOD AND OTHER CONSUMABLE GOODS ON THE COUNTERS AND THE DRAWERS IN THE BEDROOMS WERE GONE THROUGH WITH ARTICLES OF CLOTHING AND MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS ALL OVER THE FLOOR. THE OFFENDER WAS TOLD HE WAS UNDER ARREST FOR BURGLARY 1ST DEGREE AND HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE MBPD JAIL BY OFFICER WALLIS SGT MINDALA WAS NOTIFIED AND CAME TO LOCATION. CRIME SCENE WAS NOTIFIED AND CAME TO THE LOCATION TO PROCESS THE SCENE. THE VICTIM WAS GIVEN A VA FORM AND BUSINESS CARD WITH THE REPORT NUMBER AND PD CONTACT INFO.
